Overview
of Generation e-Banking Suite
GENERATION
e-Banking Suite is developed using Java technology with BEA Weblogic 5.1
application server and MS SQL Server 7 database running on Windows NT/2000
platform. It has also been tested with Oracle 8i database.
The e-Banking suite consists of three following sub-systems.
Front-end
customer web
The front-end web, consisting of JSP pages, provides interfaces (in the
form of a web site) to bank customers and enables them to do banking transactions.
Below are features of e-banking suite for customer front-end web:
- Balance
inquiry
- Fund
transfer: one-time transfer and recurring transfer
- Bill
Payment: single payment and automatic payment
- Transaction
history inquiry based on customer-defined criteria
- Recipient
list of fund transfer and bill payment.
- E-Banking
transaction can be committed to one or more bank accounts, which are
registered for the corresponding e-banking account.
- Configurable
alert / notification regarding an event to bank accounts such as balance
changes, outgoing and incoming transfer event. Notification can be sent
to customer-specified email, SMS or/and fax.

Center for correspondence to bank staff
Back-Office application
Back
office application is a Java application (with GUI), which provides bank
staff to do administration and daily operational tasks.
- Create
and modify internet account
- Attach/Detach
bank account from internet account
- Confirm
process of manual/off-line transfer and payment
- Send/Read
messages to/from customer. Messages (correspondence) from a customer
are traceable.
- Send
news to customer's email or mobile phone
- Check/monitor
login and transaction log
- Manage
back-office groups and users rights for the application.
Back-office
application runs on any Java supported platform, and should be network-connected
to Weblogic application server.
